The CARTONI C20 S fluid head is designed to provide an extremely stable support system either for standard EFP camcorder configurations and Super 16mm film cameras.
By simply presetting the differential spring reactive elements, its unique counterbalance system is ready to support a wide range of cameras weighing from 5 to 25 Kg. (11 to 55 lbs).
A 55mm. sliding base combined with a quick-release plate, allows the cameraperson to fine tune the balancing of any camera and lens combination, while an 8-position easy grip selector provides for the most suitable dynamic compensation.
Additional tilt angle can be also achieved by turning the tilt knob to OFF position , provided the counterbalance selector ring has been previously set to "0".
The C20S features 3 CARTONI award-winning and patented fluid damping modules which assure outstanding drag levels and extraordinary smoothness in both pan and tilt functions. Pan and tilt movements can be dampened with 7 precisely repeteable steps of drag, while freewheeling is obtained by simply setting the relevant selector ring to position "0".
The CARTONI C20S features a 100mm ball base, an illuminated spirit level and two control handles. A 150mm ball base is also available as an option.The fluid action head interfaces with standard aluminum or ultra-light carbon fiber tripods available both in single or two stage extension.
