The DX200 allows for safe and confidential communication.  Each base station can be connected to up to 16 BP200 Beltpacs and/or WH200 Headsets.  Beltpacs, headsets, or a varied combination of the two can be used.  Four of the 16 can be transmitted simultaneously.  However, the number of simultaneous transmissions can be increased by simply connections multiple stations together.  For example, 2 base stations can support up to 32 Beltpacs/Headsets, 8 of which can transmit simultaneously.  The Beltpac/Headset communication setting offers a push-to-talk or hands-free mode.  In addition, the base operator can also use the base system to stop any transmissions from the Beltpacs/Headsets.
 The DX200 can be used with either the RTS or Clear-Com cabled intercom system.  The intercom channel allows both 2-wire and 4-wire intercom systems to be operated simultaneously.  A second 4-wire intercom channel can also be used through the AUX In and the AUX Out connections.
 The DX200 can use either a monitor speaker or a local headset.  While using a local headset, the base station operator can communicate with crew members on the cabled intercom channel, whether it’s only Beltpacs and Headsets, or all the channels.
 The base station can be operated using either AC or DC electricity and it can be connected to a vehicle’s electrical system to allow for mobile operation.  The base stations comes with both a power supply and a cable.
